Lizet lost her last baby tooth! She was thrilled since it had been bothering her for several days. Finally, Dave was able to grasp it with a small towel and pull once. We had her swish and rinse her mouth with warm saltwater. Then, she placed her tooth in a Kleenex and put it under her pillow. Along with the tooth was a sealed envelope. Dave brought it to the room and opened it. On the front of the card it read: Dear Mouse. Inside the card…
WHERE: bed
WHEN: 12:01 a.m.
She decorated it with hearts and signed it: I LOVE YOU MOUSE!
After researching this new object of her affection, we found that in Spanish-speaking countries, instead of a Tooth Fairy, it's a little mouse who runs up the bed and takes the tooth, usually leaving a coin. This is Ratoncito Pérez. Dave left a $5 bill. That's some mouse if you ask me!
